Francis Parisien has worked for over 20 years for NielsenIQ in Canada. As Senior Vice-President – Sales for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) in Canada, he’s responsible for a cross-country team that deals with start-ups, up-and-growing suppliers, established manufacturers and government and non-governmental organizations looking for market and consumer insights. He’s also responsible for NIQ’s Canadian strategic initiatives.

In the past few months, Francis has been multiplying webinars to talk about the impact, the challenges and opportunities offered first by the pandemic, and now by the inflation hitting our industry. Working closely with his team, his mission is to find a way to work with all the players in the FMCG world.

Matthew Crompton
Regional Director – North America
CGA by NIQ

Matthew Crompton is the Regional Director – North America for CGA by NIQ and is responsible for the implementation of CGA’s on premise services in US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.

Since joining CGA Strategy in January 2010, Matthew has risen through the CGA by NIQ ranks becoming an expert in all things On Premise. Matthew has managed and provided consultancy for some of the largest Bev Al manufacturers across Europe including Diageo, Anheuser Busch and William Grant & Sons.

In January 2014, Matthew became part of the joint venture between CGA and Nielsen which has helped bring the first ever truly robust on premise measurement service to the US. Matthew comes to the US, having also helped launch services in other territories such as France and Germany.

Matthew now heads up the US On Premise Solutions team, providing first-class insight into an often perceived dark market.

Matthew is originally from the north of England and has embraced American life at every opportunity since relocating to Chicago in August 2015.

Frederique Charron
Client Solutions Manager – Canada,
CGA by NIQ 

Frederique Charron is a Client Solutions Manager for CGA by NIQ, exclusively focused on the Canadian market.

Since joining CGA in April 2023, Frederique has been dedicated to cultivating robust relationships with BevAl clients in the channel and supporting them through CGA by NIQ’s core capabilities.

As the first local and bilingual hire for the CGA by NIQ team in Canada, Frederique collaborates closely with the wider Americas team to ensure local solution development is thoroughly implemented for the Canadian business. Frederique also plays an active role in the development and launch of new products and services in market.

With an extensive background in working with suppliers across Wine, Beer and Spirits, Frederique continually expands her expertise to provide best-in-class support to clients.

Mitch Stefani
Client Solutions Director – North America
CGA by NIQ

Mitch Stefani is a Client Solutions Director for CGA by NIQ focusing on the Canadian market, and consults with BevAl clients and operators in the channel on services and industry trends.

Stemming from a background within the distributor world in the US, Mitch joined CGA’s On Premise business 5 years ago in April 2018. Being the first North American hire upon the launch of CGA in the America’s, Mitch and has been integrated into several aspects of the business providing a well-versed background into the businesses’s core capabilities tapping into On Premise insights and reporting.

From managing clients across Beer, Wine, Spirits, and distributors, to conducting consumer research and new product development, Mitch supports the Canadian business in many facets as the team continues to expand its footprint in the Canadian On Premise market.
