LGBT+ Role Model List recognizes NielsenIQ leaders

NielsenIQ is passionate and determined to ensure inclusivity every day

NielsenIQ is pleased and humbled to share that the company’s associates have been recognized in OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model Lists 2021, supported by Yahoo Finance, for their incredible contributions and efforts towards building an inclusive work culture at NieslenIQ.

Each year diversity and inclusion membership organization INvolve publishes lists highlighting the top 100 LGBT+ Executives, 100 LGBT+ Future Leaders, and 50 Ally Executives. NIQ associates Magda Markowska and Philipp Lohan have been featured in the OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Future Leaders List and OUTstanding 50 Ally Executives List, respectively.

“This milestone further adds energy to our on-going work in driving change for inclusion in the workplace and creating a culture where everyone can succeed. It is imperative that our associates feel comfortable bringing their unique voice to work and adding perspective of diverse identities and communities. Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) is strongly integrated with our everyday work, it enables us to present the real picture of consumers and always remain authentic in the measurement data we represent. Our associates are driven by purpose and passion at work and giving back to the community outside of work. I am proud to see their fantastic achievements as we continue to inspire everyone at NielsenIQ with our D&I mission,” said Myriam Vidalon, Global Head of Diversity, Talent & Culture, NielsenIQ.

The future leaders in the OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model list can be in any position in a company, can be any nationality, and based in any country. They were nominated by peers and colleagues or put themselves forward. These future leaders are making an impact through significant contribution to LGBT+ diversity at work.

For inclusion on the OUTstanding 50 Ally Executives List 2020, nominees’ seniority and influence were taken into consideration and their impact on LGBTQ+ inclusion inside and outside the workplace, as well as business achievements. They must be a vocal ally, actively working to create an environment where LGBTQ+ people can comfortably bring their best professional selves to work.

Founder and CEO of INvolve, Suki Sandhu OBE, says, “I’m thrilled to be celebrating this trailblazing group of global LGBT+ and Ally Role Models who are championing inclusion and inspiring the next generation of talent. It’s vital that the LGBT+ community can succeed and be authentic in business and beyond, and these Role Models are essential in dismantling barriers to progression and creating opportunities for LGBT+ employees to thrive.”
